one of the spakas on the island is gonna reaslise that a cell phone works and they all get off the island and go home so we dont have to put up with this crap much longer

What Happens In Lost Season 3

There is going to be a mini story arc about sawyer, jack and kate wihch lasts 6 episodes and runs in october. Its about them being with the pthers. Kate will choose between Jack and Sawyer, and the first episode will be Kate driven.
Then after Christmas the rest of the seires airs. Desmond and Penny have been signed up for the seires (as has the guy who plays Henry Gale of the others). 3 more of the islanders will become major characters. Walt and Henry arent major players this season.
Season 3 is gonna be more about relationships apparently. The hatch has been definately blown up. Thers going to be more about hte history of the island before the others arrived and how they got there, and the institute that built all the bunkers.
This is all around and about on US spoiler pages and has mostly come from interviews with the producers and the castmembers being on chat shows and saying they had been signed up.

I was at the Comic-Con convention in San Diego in July and the writers/producers and 2 actors (Hurley & Jin) were there to talk about the show. All they would say was that the first season was to establish the characters and who they are at the moment. The second season was to focus on what their lives used to be like back home and how they are more complicated characters than what we thought in the first season (like Jin and Sun's relationship reversal). The third season is in response to feedback they got from fans that the 2nd season was too much about mythology and complicated theories about the island. So the 3rd season will focus on the lovey relationships of the characters and their part on the island. That's really all they would tell us.

Well, we don't really know yet, it's mostly speculation at the moment. Apparently Jack is leaving, so I guess they will be killing him off too. HTH.
