For medication to do it's job you have to follow the directions. No spices means just that, no spices. Jalapenos are spicey even with the seeds and veins removed.

Too many spices or even a little is not good for your stomach. In severe cases some people who heat fatty, fried, and spicy foods get reflux disorder.
Just take the medication's advice.

yes jalapenos are not a spice. what makes somthing a spice is its antibactirial nature. one such example is cinnomon. if you have a question on if it is a spice or not go here:
