Okay, sorry but everyone here is an idiot. Do you even know a thing about seahorses? You should first know that they are EXTREMELY hard to take care of. They need special care and should only be kept by expert fish keepers. They are very rare and delicate creatures which is why you would have a hard time finding them. They may be available in exotic fish stores, or I know some online stores have them but they don't ship well so most online stores won't have a live arrival guarantee on a seahorse. So most likely it will be dead by the time you get it. And if it's not then it will be dead a short time after. I would ask that you please, please, PLEASE consider a different fish for your aquarium, I know that seahorses are wonderful and beautiful creatures that would make a lovely addition to an aquarium, but they are best left where they belong, in the wild, unless you are an advanced fish keeper.

If you are still bent on keeping a seahorse, then you'd best do your research before anything. Here are some links to sites that seem to be very helpful and informative:

Thanks

There are some web sites that sell these very hard to keep and on the verge of distinction animals. I love to teach people so I will tell you this captive bred sea horse's will have a much higher success rate for keeping them. I hope if you do decide to get some that you have the greatest of luck with them and try to teach others as well. Our reefs are shrinking and soon the only place to see one will be in captivity. Try this link, and good luck.

Pet shops. But seahorses are salt water creatures, so don't put them in freshwater tanks.

I don't think you can buy them at over the counter pet stores anymore.
