hope the cure is worth the cost, but here it is, cayenne pepper. Drink it in water, lots of cayenne pepper, works if you can hack it down

Sleep all day. Take 800mg Ibuprofen, or consult a gyno for birth control pills, or just ask questions if your periods are SEVERE or you have heavy or little flow.
Put a heating pad on your stomach. Drink water, and have chicken soup. Try eating a tuna sandwich to replenish the iron you are losing. Eat well in general.
A week b4 your period AVOID spices, fatty, fried foods and junk food and especially SALT, SUGAR. These are the worst.

The only thing that works for me is Ibruprofin (Brand name is Advil). I hear some women put a heating pad, hot water bottle, or small dog on their tummy to ease cramps. If they're really bad, talk to your doctor about taking birth control pills (they can lessen cramps). Then next month things won't be so bad.

Queen Victoria of England used to brew a tea from marijuana leaves for this problem. But since you don't have this option try putting a heating pad on your stomach that can sometimes work.

No homemade recipes here.
I would recommend Ibuprofen or Naproxen or the old standby, Pamprin.
You could talk to your doctor, they might prescribe something a little stronger.
