Has anyone taken the CSET (California Subject Matter for Teachers)?

I have heard horror stories...I have to take the test next week...any advice? How did you do on it?

I took the Secondary tests in both Social Science & English. I thought that they were uneven. For instance, on the Social Science test I scored higher in geography than Econ even though I don't know a thing abot geography and I minored in Econ. On the English test, I mixed up metaphors and similies on an essay and still passed.

The hardest thing about them is that they're so long. It's hard to stay focused for that long a period.

If you know the material and can focus on test day (eat a power breakfast, get a good night sleep, etc) you will probably pass.
