I guessing it is part of the frame of the vehicle that looks like an A but wanted to know where to look for it on my vehicle and how it looks. I took it in a couple days ago to a repair shop and was told that the surrounding of the bolt that the A-Frame rested on was rusted and that the best option was to replace the "A-Frame" instead of welding it? Anyone ever had good results with welding? Thanks in Advance!!

Im guessing lower because he also meantioned the lower ball joints needing replacing, and when the mecanic said "A-Frame", i asked if it was the same thing as the "A-Arm" and he said no A-Frame

It's the lower control arm. The part of the front suspension in which the bottom of the coil spring rests.

you have an a and a b frame it is what your wheel brakes and all connects to look behind the wheel. you will see what he is talking about A frame an a B frame. A frame is the top part it doesnt look like an A either. welding isnt a good idea. need replacing it. when replaced it has to be re alligned

Old slang for upper or lower suspension control arms. NEVER attempt to repair this unless you are a fabricator. Control arm is not very expensive (unless you are driving a Porsche or Vette.)
