Many do.
Isn't it amazing that someone with a high school education or less think they're smarter than a graduate of Yale?
I think that Bush is smarter than he appears, although it's evident that he's not a talented public speaker. People confuse an ability to speak well in public with intelligence.

I may or may not have a higher IQ than the President but, he has a better education and experience in his field than I do. I know what you mean about these stars now a days. Who do they think they are? They should stick to entertainment issues as they are nothing more than glorified court jesters. George Carlin is a burnt out hippie who has never come down off the "double barrel orange sunshine".

I can't read all those answers.
George Carlin is a brash comedian. He caters to his audience who delight in vulgar insults and innuendos, half truths and shear fiction. But his audience leave logic at the door.
Most demo's live that way all the time.

Most people who hate President Bush don't even know why they hate him. They don't have a good reason to hate him. All they do is blame him for 9/11 when the blame is really the muslims as they are the ones who live for hate.
Maybe the reason they hate Bush so much is because unlike Clinton he is not busy womenizing. After all, the same people that blame Bush for 9/11 are the people who prais Clinton for his adultery. Clinton served his years as president, so it is time for people to move on; to realize that Clinton is out of the White House and out of the picture. Each time I see Clinton, seems that his nose got bigger.
I would love to see Bush haters spend one month being president. I bet they will not last 1 hour.
Hating Bush is a way of blaming someone when you don't know who to blame for your life being bad. I have 1 word for the Bush haters: LOSERS

The job you do doesn't necessarily determine your intelligence you know....The more interesting question is why you assume someone in a 'regular job' couldn't be as intelligent as Bush, if not more.
As it happens, I'm a journalist, and yes, I do think I'm more intelligent than your president - I'm fully literate, for a start.

Well, yeah! Most people don't make up lies to go to war. Sorry if you're a republican. This country has not been in such a state in a long time. Monday marks five years of 9/11. Why haven't we gone after Osma yet? Why are we fighting in the wrong country? By the way, apparently you're not so bright yourself. After all, you started a sentence in lower case and asked a question without a question mark.

Not to knock Bush I voted for him twice and still support him as many people do no matter what the liberal media polls like to say. But some of us are, we just don't have the money nor desire to be president. Who needs the hassles involved and who wants the debt and worry.

being a president doesn't mean you're smart
look at paris hilton, she's famous and rich, and she'd have a better chance at being elected than someone like steven hawking (who's the smartest person in the world). ppl are superficial

You miss the point.
in fact it is very sad and ironic for you to bring this up.
as the republican party uses the very argument you are making to defend W.
the logic is this that W can be as dumb as a rock, ney dumber, but as long as he has great advisors he is fine, he has great people working for him.....
so any dumb @ss can be president...
advisors become crutches.
whereas i believe the president should be intelligent enough to have advisors as equals not crutches.
Clinton is a great example, he would actually read reports not have them summed up for him.
under the republican model i can be president, and yes i am more intellegent than the president.

The Libs look down on our president, however it is funny to note he has beat them at all there silly games. So far Gearge is batting a 1000 against them.
