Well for one thing, we built some really find homes. Have you ever owned a home built in the 1920's. They are sturdy, built with great materials and built with a skill gone from our society.
I had the good fortune to own such a home and loved it. Those people (legal American citizens I might add) built quality structures and homes that nearly 100 years later, we are proud to see lining American streets. Will the same be said of the cookie cutter homes obliterating the American landscape today??
Time will tell.
