..............DOES IT REALLY MATTER???!!!! I mean, how long do you EXPECT to wear it? If you wear red, black, blue, green......green & white striped.......its not gonna stay on no matter what the color is.

Black lingerie. It's just classier. Red tends to look trashy unless it's a dark red and very, *very* simply made.

Well that depends on a person's mood and perhaps the time of year.
Halloween I'd definetly go with BLACK...maybe even with a pair of black boots and a witches hat. How's that for a treat? LOL
Christmas RED with a green bow...a nice present for Santa to open.
Naturally Valentine's Day would have to be RED...although if your "party" involves chocolate you might decide BLACK would be better so you don't end up with chocolate stains on your nice red silk.
Of course you could also mix it up a bit...BLACK panties with a RED bra?

Black. It is much more slimmerizing (if that is a word). But it depends on the shade of red, like if it was a raspberry or burgandy shade, that would be good, but not a cherry or fire engine red.
