I think both are acceptable. Just go with what you are both comfortable with. The larger the age gap between the two of though, the more difficult it is and the more issues you will have to face...

Then again this sometimes brings couples together more.

It really depends on what you both what out of the relationship and whether you are both compatible.

Whos one to say what age range is acceptable, and what is not? were all human beings after all! Just dont do anything illegal or harming anyone else, and your pretty much fine!

I would suggest talking to your partner or whoevere you are thinking of being with and sharing your concerns or questions.

I hope this helps! xx

As long as both of you are consenting adults, above age 18 then age doesn't matter. If an adult is in a relationship with a child it is unacceptable. I mean if one is 17 and one 18 that is okay but a 12 yr old with a 120 yr. old, or 18yr old it is not acceptable behavior.

Well , I am 16 years older than my wife and we have been married for 34 years and still going strong. Sometimes age difference means a lot but if you love someone enough it doesn't make too much difference what the age difference is.

As long as they are both over the age of 16 if they are having sex. Any age is acceptable for a platonic relationship.

a school leaver? What are you talking about? I think that 10 years is a good limit as long as both are 18 or over.

it all depends. i'm 28 and i had girlfriend that was 40. and i also dated a 19 year old college student. it depends on how mature the people are. as long as both people are of legal age, i'd say maybe 10-12 years, maybe more.

Anything is acceptable, as long as you both love each other and are willing to try for a proper relationship then it is perfectly acceptable.

If you think about it, you can't really restrict yourself to a certain age group if you love someone outside of it. As long as they both love each other then age doesn't matter.

age doesn't matter, all dat does is love.

even if a 12-year old was in love with a 120-year-old it wud be perfectly acceptable as if you love someone, no matter what your age, you should go for it.

i know a 15-year-old whom commited suicide a while ago because she was forbidden to see her 40-year-old boyfriend and I also know a person who met a guy in his 30s when she was 14/15 and they went out and are now happily married.

just ignore ages, no matter what the difference it is FINE

A totally personal decision.
Asking here you'll probably hear that both should be the same age within a couple of weeks if possible. ;-)
If you found the right person for yourself, why would you give a hoot what anyone else thinks about that?
