My best friend doesn't want to go to homecoming because the guy that she sorta likes is goin to be there. In fact she has this whole love triangle with a couple guys. She tends to freak out over little things. How can I convince her to go. I've tried everything.

Well, I have tried a bunch of different methods such as trying to make her feel guilty or telling her that she'll regret it. I really want her to come because it just won't be anyfun without her. Now she's getting mad that I keep asking her, but i think thats the only way.

While You are talking to Her calmly one day, just play the what if game. Dr. Phil is the one I heard about it from, on t.v. of course.
Ask what Her biggest fear is. Say perhaps the Guy She likes is with another girl. Ask Her what if He is with another girl? And She says, that will make Me sad. What if it makes You sad? I may not have a good time. What if You don't have a good time? I would be embarrassed. What if Your embarrassed? Follow it all the way through to the end, and there are no more questions, and answers, until She sees that it is only fear that is holding Her back from one of the most cherished memories She will ever have. They are called milestones, and even if We have, what We believe to be, Gigantic reasons for not doing these things. We will however, in time, truly regret not having experienced them.

God Bless and best wishes, hope You have a wonderful, safe, night, together.....

then really leave gher alone you are only making her not want to go even moreYou can not make someone do something they do not want to do no matter how silly the reason is

just call her tell her you are not going to bug her about it anymore but that you really wish she would come because it would not be any fun without her but that you will respect her wishes and then drop it you are actually makeing it worse

don't go either. stay at home, watcha a movie.AND REGRET IT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.
Don't be silly,if you have a date for the dance,go...if your friend doesn't want to then fine...think about it,too, tell her there are going to be alot of OTHER new people there to occupy her time..she might see how much fun you are looking forward to and decide to go and have fun with YOU!

Leave her alone...maybe she'll change her mind but putting the pressure on her is just upsetting her more.

tell her it really would mean alot to you. she must be a loyal friend, so she might change her mind, and if she doesn't, try telling her how much it would REALLY REALLY mean to you, and try to sound really desperate, because you obviously are.

try and make her see that her friendship with you is more important than any guy! that way, she might be able to suck it up and go...for you!
