I love kids who are very cute and well-behaved.
BUT I get really annoyed & pissed with hyperactive ones (especially when he/she is not cute at all) who scream and run around.
I always thought I loved kids but now, I'm not sure anymore coz of experience. What do you think of me? Don't I like kids? And are you like me?
(I'm kinda unhappy with the 2 yr old daughter of my friend coz she always gives her parents a hard time, she's very hyper & irritating.. and yeah, she's not cute.)

Nah, you like well behaved children, unlike the parents of those screaming little brats you described. And yes, I am like you. I like being around children who are nice, polite and respectful of others. I HATE being anywhere near kids that run around like little chickens with their heads cut off. Yes, I do realize that children need to run around and let off steam, but there is a time and place for that. And it sure as hell isn't when you're in a restaurant or store but at home when company isn't over.

There's nothing wrong with not liking kids. Not all kids are cute and precious, despite what some people say. Some kids are annoying and bratty and I don't see anything cute about that!
A lot of people will think there's something wrong with you if you don't like kids, but don't pay any attention to them. I always knew I didn't want kids and people would always try to convince me that I should have kids because it's just such a "wonderful" experience.
HA!! I got my tubes tied for my 30th birthday and it was the best gift I ever got!

You'd probably make a very good parent; your antipathy toward badly behaved kids will be what would set you apart from the parents who shouldn't be allowed to breed because they are so cavalier about the behaviour of their progeny.
In my time I have lived for my own kids. And now their kids fill my days beautifully.
But I'm far from a kiddie person in general; I tend to think they should be seen and not heard. And I'd cheerfully kick the arses of some of the little brats I've come across in my time.
At risk of sounding too familiar, I think you have a great attitude with respect to this.

I like only my kids and I don't like newborns and the older they get the more I like them. 2 years old. Do you have hair or have you pulled it out???
There isn't anything wrong with having a child and not liking kids. It's enough to kill a human. You worry about them nonstop. They can get hurt in a heartbeat. Plus some years are BAD!
Don't feel odd your not alone. There is a difference between like and love. You just don't like right now. Your good.

Don't just blame the kids it is the parents fault also. A child can't show it's self what is right and wrong and discipline it's self as well.
I use to never want kids and when I had my own that all changed.
KIds can be irritating spolied undisciplined ones.
Hang in there they are not all the same and when you have your own it is so much better.

i like the cute ones as long as I can give them back after the end of the day. I know I never want any kids of my own.

kids, i love, until they are fussy, hungry, or cranky in any sort of way .
i'm going to create the perfect kid one day . so i can love them all the time, not just when they're happy .
