She made a mistake and she has to face the consequences. She is old enough to know that. If she decides to have the baby, her parents will find out. If she decides to get an abortion, she still has to go to her parents for that to happen because she is not an independent. What she shouldn't do is try to go through this on her own (like running away), or make bad decisions that compromise her health or the babies health because she is scared of the consequences of facing her parents. If her parents are like most, they will get upset/mad but know that they can not do anything but help their child. If her parents are dead beats, and you know this for sure, the best thing you can do is help her find a support group or something similar to both protect her from her parents and help her through her single parent pregnancy. You, as a friend, can only be there to listen to her and to steer her into the right direction. You can't make the decisions for her, nor can you go against her parents unless your friends is physically threatened by them.

Be supprtive and help her threw it, she is going to need all the help and support she can get and perhaps you can help her break the news to her mother and trust me her mom is not going to kill her.
Some people are being so rude, just because the girl got pregnant so young does not make her a bad person and as for the MORON saying she is stupid and probabyl has diseases and should of used protection just STFU you have no idea what the whole story is I mean for all we know a condom could of broke and just because you have sex does not mean you are going to catch something, it is possible but not every single person in the world has a disease.

Usually the parent of the pregnant teen won't kill their own child. Your friend will need to have a talk with her Mom soon-she will start showing-then what? Before that-she could talk with her doctor, or Pregnancy Resource center, or another pregnancy resource center. There are a lot of teen prengancy resource centers out there. Look in the phone book, or if there is a care crisis phone line in your area-call them to talk-and get a list of resources (have paper & pen in hand). Whether you are happy for her or not-that is your choice-but no matter what-support her as a good friend. She needs to know she is not alone-and somebody cares.

By all means do NOT be "happy" for her. Not only did she get pregnant, but who knows what kind of diseases she has caught. She obviously doesn't care enough about herself to use protection or insist that her partner use protection. She is now going to suffer because of this. Be a friend to her and help her all you can. ALSO learn from this! Spread the word that this can happen to ANYONE!!!

she needs to tell her parents.
and of course her parents are going to mad. thats a given. so be there for her. thats what true friends do. hold her nad give her a shoulder to cry on.
and just show YOU care...no matter what happens in her life, and that you would never leave and abandon her..

She needs your support right now. You need to encourage her to be honest with the father and with her own family. Be there to hold her hand during the tough times and laugh with her during the good times.

Be a friend. Listen when she needs to talk, be a shoulder when the going gets rough and celebrate with her when she does.

what is the happy side a child having a child. i hope she has the baby and know it is all about the baby now not her. it is so stupid to have unprotected sex. it could be worse she could have aids instead of a baby.of coarse her mom will be upset, but i hope she helps her daughter. and i hope you learned something here as well

There's nothing you CAN do but be there for you and be supportive. She sounds like she's going to need it.
