I have more than 50 in my yard, around swimming pool and lower siding areas, all fuzzy-but dif colors and live behind a cornfield with just dirt and no grass or landscaping yet.

There is no way of knowing without a more detailed description whether it will become a moth or butterfly. With a few exceptions moths and butterflies are beneficial as pollinators. This is especially important since we are killing off most of our honeybees while spraying for mosquitoes.

Some fuzzy caterpillars become moths, and some become butterflies.

why kill it because its a moth,not hurting you is it?there isnt a lot of diffrence between a butterfly and a moth anyway

Just leave them alone, don't kill them.
