Good question. But hey, people make mistakes. For some, they just never learn. It sucks that we pay for those mistakes.

The most alarming thing in world politics is the ever growing frequency and ferocity with which Islam has attacked the world since the 70's.
The second most alarming thing in world politics, is how many idiots like you can not see that and instead waste your venom and vitriol attacking the one president that has decided to do something about the former.

What's more alarming is why people voted for him...dig into this a little more. Bush is the Evangelical Movement's choice for president. Let's make sure they don't get their next presidential choice elected in 2008.
Otherwise we'll just have hope the Rapture comes sooner than later.

George Bush, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld are flying on Air Force One. The President looks at the Vice President, chuckles, and says, "You know, I could throw a $1000 bill out the window right now and make somebody very happy."
The Vice President shrugs and says, "Well, I could throw 10 $100 bills out the window and make 10 people very happy."
Not to be outdone, the Secretary of Defense says, "Of course, then, I could throw 100 $10 bills out the window and make a hundred people happy."
The pilot rolls his eyes and says to his co-pilot, "Such arrogant asses back there. Hell, I could throw the three of them out the window and make 56 million people really happy."

The majority of people did not elect him twice. . .2000, Al Gore received more of the popular vote. Bush doesn't "rule", he presides. . .two different things altogether.

It would be alarming if they HAD elected him. So far, most of them say that was a staged mistake
So isn't it, in fact, more alarming that he got away with such an obvious deception?
nice one, westgaliberty ;)

if it makes you feel better, many people I know who voted for him the 2nd time, if they could go back in time, would not do it again.
