If you were familiar with the mechanics of your brake system, I could explain it text only. But if you aren't, or don't know the fundamental operation of the disc brake, and the parking assembly, it is pretty difficult to try to do.
The best thing (and safest) for you to do is to buy the repair manual for your little car where you bought the pads. They are available for < $20.00, and in addition, covers most everything else you might want to do to your car.
If this isn't an option, you can also go the library, and in the REFERENCE section, you will find either a repair manual, a service manual, or a shop manual covering that mode.
The library may also subscribe to a computer reference service called either ALLDATA or Mitchell On-Demand. Both very good resources, used by the professionals.
There is also an online option, but it cost a subscription fee. You might try either one of these----->

Maybe you shouldn't be doing the work yourself. Take your car to the dealer.
