I never grew up in an environment where I was raised to be one particular thing, but the rest of my family (besides my dad) are christians. Its weird because nobody knows besides my close friends. Im just confused about the whole thing. Is it wrong?

Girl...trust me..there is no such thing as a god first of all. I think you should just forget about religion. Religion is what makes people hypocrits. Look what it has done to our country and the youth? Why don't you have principals instead? that;'s better...like..
Don't lie
Don't cheat
Don't disrespect others
Be more giving
Love yourself
Work hard
Don't do anything to the extreme
Be responsible

Thing is, christianity was never supposed to be a religion. God doesn't want religion with us, he wants RELATIONSHIP. I go to a church, the name of it or the denomination are completely irrelavent. If someone asks me what religion I am, I say none. I simply have a relationship with God that I didn't have before. Now I will confess that that relationship was only made possible through Jesus but it was not to give me a new religion, only a relationship with a Father I never knew I had. And because of that a bunch of brothers and sisters I never knew I had. That includes you and everyone else on this planet.

Not necessarily wrong. A lot of parents of my generation never raised their children according to any sect or doctrine and said that we'd allow the kids to decide if and when they were interested. A person can still believe in a power greater than they are and not be religious. Talk with your parents and find out their beliefs, if any and ask them to explain to you the questions that are confusing you. Good luck to you.

its not wrong at all. if you have beliefs that dont just follow what everyone else is going with then search for more information. dont just be a follower, lead yourself to the enlightenment of your spiritual self. and no matter what, if you dont "pick" a religion but still have some sort of beliefs no one can tell you that you are doing it wrong. most religious texts were written for simple people to follow basic moral codes thousands of years ago, do they truely apply today? not really, just go with what feels right for you and makes you happy.

you have some reading to do. read a variety of things about different religious beliefs, and when you find one appealing, study it more closely. a course in religion at a local community college or university may help.

It's not wrong -- not at all. I do believe that it's important to be thoughtful about the nature of our existence and to strive to come to some understanding of it. If religion helps you do that, then great. For some people, religion doesn't help much. IMHO, it's the mental and spiritual journey that's important.

no it isnt wrong just as long as you believe in God and CHristthat is all that counts and during the day there was no religons,
of any kind except the follower fo Christ and that is all that counts is that you believe in God and his son Christ and let them show you the way they want you to go. Amen
