I moved to an new apartment about a month ago, but the laundry dryer in that apartment does not dry stuffs (it works though...) I asked the landload, but he is not going to fix it nor there are no telephone # of the manufacturer... My apt is in isolated place, so it takes 10 or more minutes to walk to other coin laundry, and I do not want to do it... Is there any way to fix this dryer?

ask the landlord if you can pull the dryer away from the wall and clean out the vent and hose. this will keep it from drying good.

also go outside where the dryer vents from the building and make sure it isn't blocked or clogged.

Pressure the landlord somehow, if you signed a lease is the washer/dryer stated in the lease or discription? Tell him you or tenents will go half on repairs, you must have a scumbag slumlord if he will not fix or replace a dryer, find new place when lease is up.

It is quite possible that the machine in question is placed there under contract by an outside company. Make sure there aren't any tags with their name located anywhere on it, then keep bothering your landlord about it. Eventually he will get sick of hearing from you and get something done.

I'm sure there are appliance repair places in the phone book. It sounds as if the thermostat went out. But it sounds like the expense may be yours. You may even need the managers permission to have the repair done if it's coin operated.

Buy a new dryer yourself, when you move in the future you take it with you sine your landlord wont buy a new one.
