good one,
now most of us know tht Microsoft is keen at resolving problems, now although XP came thru a series of tests and beta tests and all, its not completely error/bug-free, so wht MS does, is tht it has an error reporting service which automatically generates the error caused by the application and the possible reason, u have the option of sending it to MS. thts where ur asked to submit and error report, this is done so tht MS can find a possible solutuin. If this has happened before, then MS must've solved it! this helps us in identifying the problem too, so its better to keep the error service running! but if u think tht this thingy really bugs u, here're the steps to disable it...

1) login to XP with admin privileges
2) go to start -> run and type "services.msc" (without the quotes)
3) look for "error reporting service"
4) right click it -> select properties
5) make the startup type -> disabled
6) next time u start the PC, this service is disabled and it wont bug u anymore

If u wanna enable it again, go to properties and change the startup to automatic!

Hope this helps,
ciao

Microsoft have a database of all the errors. If the same error regularly occurs MS will try and sort it out and release a patch with Windows updates.

It's just a generic error. I think you mean it happened in Internet Explorer and not in "microsoft". Go download the latest version of IE and reinstall.

hi, perhaps there are some virus with your IE browser.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:
