Unfortunetly, blue smoke usually indicates the engine is burning oil. This could be caused from several different infractions, such as bad piston rings to something as simple as a bad PVC valve. I would highly recommend you take the unit to a bonified mechanic and get it tested, or a good guesstament. Please dont be afraid to get a second or even third opinion. If this isn't a major problem, some unorthadoxed shop could make alot of money off you.

The blue smoke is oil being burned by your engine. It could be an oil sending switch, which is rather cheap to repair. It could also be a sign of a more serious problem.

Your rings or valve seals have gone bad. Oil is getting in the combustion chamber and burning. Try one of the "engine rebuild in a can" products...if it doesn't work you need a new engine, rebuilt engine or new car.
good luck

you are burning oil. You need a ring job or a valve job, most likely a burnt valve.

You are burning too much oil. It could be your piston rings, that's waht it used to be on our 2CV.
Go & get it looked at before it's too late please :-)
