Some very good all round laptops at moment include a £299 laptop with Wifi, DVDRW at both Comet and Tescos.
This is a hot offer and you might need to ring around to find a store that has in stock (not available online).
You will need to upgrade the memory but this is quite standard.

Visit www.gumtree.com to find some selling a good Laptop in and around your neighbourhood or betterstill, you could visit London Computer Fair every sunday at Stratford (East London) 1min walk outside the station.

I saved over $400!
Just take your time and do your research! It will pay off in the end.

A local, small computer store. They're the best value for money. PC World is a ripoff. Their laptops are expensive and many are crap.

Check in the Universities! Some students want to sell theirs, as they come from other countries! Chinese students do that a lot! Check in the universities near you!

if u r anywhere near london go to tottenham court road. haggle with all of them especially if u have cash. u get double everything than u would get at pc world etc
