Why, in some trailers, does the announcer say "In theaters only, July 31st (or whatever the release date is)" at the end of the preview? Is it because they don't want people to think that the movie is out on DVD? If so... why not just say "In theaters...".. is the "only" really neccessary??

Its a scam so people see the movies in theatres. Then the movie is released on DVD six months later. That way the movie theatre industry does not run out of business.

be patient, the movie will eventually be out on dvd, they are lying to make you come to the theatre,,, theatres are going to be a thing of the pass some day i believe and we will get direct hook up to first run movies on a pay per view basis on television.. won't even need video stores...theatres only exist to sell high priced, stale popcorn and over priced soda pop and candy...who needs that????
