Here is what I mean... Suppose everything in our universe was doubled in size... People... the Earth... the Stars... EVERYTHING... would the laws of physics stay the same? Would anything be different? Would we be able to tell that somehow that everything is now doubled in size?

Assuming that atoms and molecules also double in size, it might not be immediately apparent. Until we start to look at relativistic things. Astronomer's need to take relativity into account even when observing the planets. They would probably be the first to notice that the speed of light has somehow slowed down.

No. Think of water drops. Water drops beed up at sizes that we are intuitively accustomed to. If tomorrow the size of everything changed we would immediately notice that beeds of water were not the size that they used to be. This is a simple answer but for a more thourough answer look into Richard Feynman's work--he addresses this question very well.

If everything doubled in size, all the yardsticks would double also, so no size measurements would change. But things that depend on distance (such as gravitation) would change, so there would be effects.
