repeat oneself? What I mean is it a negative to be going over the same thing again and again? Can it be a tiresome habit to say the same thing in different ways?

It's only annoying if you keep going on and on. keep saying the same thing over and over. repeating yourself again and again. saying it one way and another and another. trying to find many ways to say this and that....

Right it's wrong. It's bad because it's not good. One should not unless one should. It's negative if it's not positive. Only if you get tired in the middle of being tiresome.
