The way she used to go into detail about the most gross things she could think of? I LOVED Gilda Radner!! And the rest of the team that was with her. What other character names are your favorites from Saturday Night Live in the early years?

Yes, and sometimes the answerers, too...ask some simple question and some of the answers I got...I thought I was gonna DIE!

Best Gilda skits: Lisa Lupner (or however it was spelled) and TODD!

I loved the Blues Brothers, too. And when Chevy Chase made the faces behind someone giving a serious speech. Man, that show was so cool & funny - the first American comedy I thought was right up there with Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Oh, my goodness, dear, you are showing your age. I would guess more than 80% of the people on this site have no idea who Gilda Radner was.
But, to answer your question. My all time favorite was the Samurai Tailor or Deli Owner or whatever profession popped into John Belushi's crazed comic mind. Pure genius!

Saturday Night Live has never been the same without Rosanna Rosanna Danna!

Remember Steve Martin, Phil Hartman, Chris Farley, Dana Carvey, Mike Myers and David Spade.

Miss them!
