The Beatles Song is "And Your Bird Can Sing" and yes, my possessions have become a burden. I tend to be a packrat but I am trying to declutter things these days. I've been donating much of my kitchen castoffs to my kids and to charity. Kitchen is done...now it's onto the bedrooms!

i think the song is money can't buy me love!
and yes i have accumulated a lot of stuff in my life time and every once in a while i have to go thru it and make a clean sweap! deciding what matters and what dont then i get rid of the stuff that don't matter no more or is of no use to me anymore! i did this recently and i gave away a lot of clothes that i did not wear anymore to the local thrift store! and some books and stuff to!

Absolutely... first I got things then as the collections grew I got stuff and now I need a new house because I have a mess.
My daughter bought a new house and she is coming to remove the overgrowth from my rooms... better for her to have it than for me to dust it.

so i have decluttered my stuff a couple of years ago. threw away quite a bit of stuff.
i have never regretted (except for throwing away a couple of my school's year books).
very therapeutic!
