how do i get past the snorlax in pokemon crystal?

ah this was a tricky trick they played on you, go to your (poke'nave i think it was well you need the radio card from it, you can obtain it from the radio station in golden rod i think. yeah, you answer questions and you get it) anyway once you have it open it up and find pokemon flute channel usally near the last station to the right, once it starts playing, press b until you can walk around again, so with the station still playing (if you hear the flute being played over the normal music its on) press A at the snorlax and prepare for a tough fight! buy some effective poke balls to make sure you catch it! or kill it, but you wont be able to get it again, so i recommend catching it. good luck!

visit the powerplant first, then investagate the curlean gym and follow the guy to the cape. Then get the part and take it to the power plant manager. Then go to the radio tower manager and get the epan card. Then tune to the pokeflute channel and place it near the snorlax.

You play the radio to the pokeflute tune. But in order to play that tune, you have to talk to a man inside Lavander Town Radio Tower. He will give you the expansion chip. In order to get that, though, you must go to the power plant. There you will learn about team rocket's evil plans, and you can go to Cerelean City to stop the Rocket Guy, then return the missing part to the power plant.
