Pooja: The choice of career should depend on your long term interest in a particular field. While many of us go to college to get a professional education in business, engineering, literature etc, there are other options available to you should your field of interest vary from what is being taught in the colleges. To start, first ask yourself about what line of work would make you happy. It is ok to experiment in a line that you think you may like. You will never know what you don't like if you don't give it a try.

Once you have decided what field to pursue ( business, arts literature etc ), then look at your options in gaining some more knowledge on the choosen field. While college may be able to cater to some of your education, there may be vocational training programs available that may be able to better equip you for the field of your choice... For example, if you want to be a cook or work in the hospitality ( hotel ) industry then look for specialized schools and colleges that offer advanced education in these areas. If you want to be a fashion designer then apply to some good fashion schools. You will also benefit by asking for some career advise from people who are already working in the field where you want to be in. This will allow you to navigate the various options that you have avaialble to you.

You are quite young and have lots of options available. However, instead of just trying several areas, it will be worth while to take some time to think about what may want to long term and spend your efforts along those line rather than picking the first available choice of vocation that comes to mind.
