I'm a surgeon and want to know why they do not use local anesthesia

because 1. it might change the colour of the ink going into the skin, and 2. those topical meds aren't supposed to be injected into the body, and that's what happens when you try to tattoo through them, They would probably cause an infection and scarring. If you were a surgeon, you would know this.

becuase theyd have to know how and let me tell you i dont think a much of big guys covered in tattoos ever went to med school. its a good ides though!
