I would say no… The reason being, is many of those free service sites make their money via advertising or collecting marketing information from their customers. Unfortunately, because current laws do no not protect the average innocent Internet user, these companies push the boundaries in how they collect their information with them many times existing in that grey not so legal area… This is especially true if the website owner or hoster is overseas. Now, I am not saying all of these sites are bad.. but a percentage of them are…..

I would suggest staying away from Smiley Central. I ended up with an awful mess as a result of downloading from there!

Generally Not, I would recomend staying away from any site like that or any site you are unaware of.

NO! AT ALL COSTS DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY OF THOSE. THEY HAVE ROOTKITS WHICH ALLOW OTHER VIRUSES IN EVEN IF YOU DO HAVE ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE!
