on here i saw a girl who posted a question about fat people eating at buffetts and how they gross her out! why do people have to feel like that! dont they have anything better to do with their time then make fun of other people!? tht might be all cleshay but i dont think that right for you to judge someone without knowing them! escpecially overweight people! maybe everyone should write about how seeing a skinny person not eating makes them sick! but no one does! what is with our society! we are a bunch of stereotyping pigs!!

ok this doesnt only go twards overweight people ok! read the question it says to not judge anyone!i just said especially "fat people" because that is what i was talking about at the moment! one of my best friends has been called anorexic and she sometimes thinks it a compliment and "omg! shes so fat" isnt almost never a compliment so its alittle more painful for people being called fat than skinny!

I couldn't have said it any better myself!!!!!!!!!!
People see overweight people and they come to the conclusion thay all they do it sit on their but and eat, but that isn't true.
WE as a society need to some judges others!!!!!And just get along.

Actually, there is somewhat of a backlash happening toward ultra skinny people. (mostly women) Have you seen the movie Phat Girlz? Did you see how badly they treated the skinny woman? It's not good for fat people to turn around and bash skinny people either. Anger and aggression from either side is not going to help.
Yes we are a society of stereotyping pigs. The only way to handle that is to become educated so that you can help shed light on those hypocrisies and bring about change.
The myth is that people who are over weight are that way because they lack self control. In reality there are a number of reasons: Post Traumatic Stress, Eating Disorders (yes fat people can suffer from anorexia, bulemia, binging etc), and there are an extraordinary amount of overweight women who are coping with sexual trauma.
So I agree, we should be more kind.

First off not all fat people are sloppy, nasty, lazy, stinky and those other stereotypes they label them I have ran across just as many skinny people with the same flaws it's all about the person it self and their choice of how they live their life, black white, skinny fat lazy, active it's all about you people really need to stop being so damn judge mental about other peoples flaws and look @ themselves to see whats' wrong in their life no one is perfect and no one will ever be because you re a size 2 beautiful hair and skin that's just the outer layer what about your inner heart being concerned with making changes in your life for you to be a better person.

I think YOU'RE stereotyping by saying that all thin people hate people who aren't thin. I'm thin, and I have never thought negatively of people who aren't; in fact, I've felt some kinship with people who can't buy off-the-shelf clothes and whose weight is a problem.
RooBoo, I came back to post a reply to your answer to my other question. No, I really have never felt uncomfortable at all around heavy people. They are people just like everyone else, and their weight really just does not affect me. I do feel some sympathy for them when they can't fit into our "defined" sized seats on planes, restaurants, but I have never felt uncomfortable. I should add though that my mother and sister (who has now passed of cancer) are/were both heavy, due to thyroid problems, so I understood that they could eat the same things as me and I was always underweight. We really do need to be more accepting and tolerant of others; it's the only way to be happy ourselves. Peace to you.

Think about it. This person is not comfortable in her own skin so she makes fun of someone who is. Perhaps she may also have an eating disorder of her own? And this doesn't only pertain to eating habits. People make fun of you no matter what.
P.S. (cleshay is spelled c-l-i-c-h-e')

i agree if skinny people are going to make fun of the bigger people then they should also expect to get made fun of. to youn skinny people have you ever thought that you makeing fun of a bigger person causes them to want to eat more so you should just keep your mouths shut unless you have something nice to say cause nobody is perfect

Anyone who pigs out IS gross, no matter what their weight. Just like people who don't eat have mental issues. Neither one is good.
Everything in MODERATION is best.
