Lots of times. I used to look uncannily similar to a rock star who is exactly the same age as me. One day when he had several records in the charts all at once, I took the train to Brighton. A schoolgirl spotted me. She went to fetch her mates and they all gathered in the corridor, nodding in agreement.
The train arrived at Brighton, I got out sharpish, and the girls began to follow me. It might have been the whole school. There were hundreds of them. I quickened my pace, and they broke into a run. I broke into a run and they broke into a charge.
I leaped into the first cab I came to, which was at the back of the rank. The driver turned around and shouted: "Ere, you can't do that," as cabbies do if you try to take the wrong one. Then he looked up, saw a vast hoard of screaming schoolgirls descending on his cab, said "Oh! F*ck!" and drove away as fast as he could.
He asked which hotel I was going to. I asked for "somewhere close to a cafe". He was very understanding and wouldn't take a tip.

I never actually saw her myself, but people would always come up to me & ask why I had ignored them the day before or whatever.
What I don't understand is why people were confused. She evidently spoke mainly Spanish & worked across town where most people saw her. They all knew I where I worked during the day, since they came in to the bar where I worked. And I, unfortunately, speak only English. Maybe most of the people I knew then were just plain stupid. or drunk. or both.

I quite often see my doubles. I have a face and features that seem to be an archtype. You all may have noticed that kind of face. There was a point where I was told, and I did see the similarity to Greatful Dead guitarist, Jerry Garcia.
That is one kind of archtype. There are many others.

Yes, when I was 17, a lady I worked with kept staring at me and she was freaking me out, in the end she told me she was sorry but I was the spitting image of her daughter and she hadn't meant to be rude by staring at me, a few weeks later I met her daughter and it really spooked me as it was just like looking in a mirror, either my father had an affair or she was my twin and we got seperated at birth, really spooky to see your double.

Seen him, bumped into him in the street, mumbled apologies to each other and walked three steps past each other before we realised! Then we stared at each other for a few seconds before walking on our seperate ways.
Not only do we look alike, we sound alike, we act alike, it is like seeing yourself from the outside. A strange feeling. We were even wearing the same style of clothes.

Yes and it was quite freaky. I was a waiter in college and a guy came into the restaurant that looked just like me. I even asked my mom if i had twin given away at birth. We stayed in touch for a while cuz it was just weird, but eventually lost contact with each other.

Yes... and I got the blame for things she did when we were young... and I'm seriously wondering, if there is something my parents never told me, since, I know they had intended to have their last baby adopted out, but it died at birth. And I know they never wanted me, because mum told me so:-(
I say this in all earnestness, because, I three times conceived twins, and three times, only one took, but I had two sacs of water at the birth and always, one was empty! Maybe when I wasn't wanted and was born at home, they had two of us unexpectedly, and got shot of one of us... and that is really why they beat me up and shut me out of everything and put me into care later... who knows? I've often mused on this!
And weirder still, I have two birth certificates, exactly the same, with consecutive numbers, from the registry book!
The girl in question was at my school, lived in the next village, which in my day, was a long way off, since we walked or bused everywhere back then and more or less stayed close to roots. And we were often mistaken for one another in school.
She had fun one day in the park, on the boating lake with two young males to keep her company and my (then) husband, was told that it was me, despite me having five small kids and never leaving them, and being at home, and no one saying there were any kids inside that boat, he came home and beat me up!
Sigh...
But hey you, if you're reading me, my doppelganger, time twin, double... one day, we have to meet again and do a blood test... yeah?

Yes. My mum insisted on me meeting this girl, a friend's friend's friend's daughter who apparently looked like if she was my twin. I thought she was just being over the top, but then thought why not. When I did, it was way freaky. Not just same height, hair style and colour, built and facial features, but even her first name is identical to mine. We've become great friends and whenever we're out together, people think we're identical twins!

Recently a friend of mine in a nearby city took me to show me my double. With lot of eagerness I went with him. Unfortunately, that person was not available at the time of my visit. Hoping to see him during my next visit and I will surely answer your question.
