Take three of your best friends bowling, have your tea out somewhere nice, then go to Blockbuster and choose two DVDs, stop off at the corner shop and get some boxes of chocolates and other goodies, go home, paint eachother's nails while listening to loud music, play the X Factor PS2 game (or something similar) while eating your first box of chocs, put your PJs on and watch the DVDs in the dark. Watch the scary one first, and the comedy last, polishing off the rest of the chocolates and washing them down with Dr. Pepper. Fall asleep while the last film is still on. Don't forget to make your friends sing Happy Birthday every hour.

Ask your parents to take you and a few friends paint balling as a birthday treat/party. It is so much fun. You can go for half a day, or a full day, depending on what you can afford.

Girly sleepover, with pizza and videos. Stay up all night talking, chocolate midnight feasts etc. That's what my girl did when she was 12 and 13 and she loved it.
