Is there a difference between mass market paperback and paperback books?

There might be a difference also in regards to size of the paperback book. For example, trade paperbacks are a different size than the mass market paperback books.

Some paperbacks have smaller press runs than others, but other than that there is no basic difference between the mass market books and the specialized subject books.

And trade paperbacks look a little more classy.
