Yes! I can't decide whether my favourite track of all time is Comfortably Numb or Wish You Were Here. David Gilmour has said there will never be another tour now he's turned 60, so to catch the music live look out for the tribute band Australian Pink Floyd. We saw them a few months ago in Aberdeen and they were fantastic.

Floyd is awesome! Also like some of the solo stuff from Gilmore and Waters. Though I think Waters and Gilmore alone just aint the same. The band was it's best with those two at thier peak. I like some of th early Syd days. Was a bit discordant on many but several good tunes from that era. Several good tunes in the post-Waters stuff. Divsion Bell was a really good CD. The Wall, Animals, Wish you were here and Dark Side of the moon though were better.

I actual have an illicit of a Roger Water teach from a twelve months or 2 in the past. have not given it back to my buddy yet :P I additionally recorded an previous VH1 Legends teach approximately Floyd. some stable Syd stuff! MQ: out of all the ineffective bootlegs I actual have, my maximum prized one is from a 1977 teach on the hot Haven, CT collaseum, which has considering that been torn down with the help of the state of CT (ah, "they paved paradise"...). The teach replaced into no longer purely mind-blowing however the sound high quality is impressive besides.

I think so too - I have all of their albums (and I mean all! Phew!) and I've seen them live three times - for 'Wish You Were Here/Animals', I saw 'The Wall' and 'Pulse' (sadly without the 'full team' ie: Mr. Waters).
They just blow me away - although Dear ol' moody Rog Water's stuff without the rest of the gang is pretty dull most of the time. Dave Gilmour's recent solo offering (On An Island) is ace, though a little thin in places (needs Water's dark side - The Vader to Gilmour's Anakin).
If you get a chance to grab the 'Pulse' DVD do so - it's brilliant.
