I was sitting on my couch watching the today show and I saw the planes crash into the towers I was horrified I am originally from Long Island New york and I have family who lives in the city. My nephew was one of the firefighters who responded. I was so scared and started praying and then we saw him interviewed on CNN. I thought Thank God, but then to see people jumping out of the windows of the towers made me want to throw up and I started praying for their families as well.

In my living room, watching the news. They interrupted with " Breaking News", and went to live broadcast. It was on TV for the rest of the day. I couldn't take my eyes off of it!!! It was like I was in some sort of a daze all day !
I still get that feeling in the pit of my stomach when ever I think about it.
I'm a little leery of what may happen in 2 days now.
I mean, it's like it happened just yesterday ! Not 5 years ago !!
I can still see the second plane hitting the second tower, and realizing that it was no accident. That was when the tone in everyone's voice changed. They were all relatively calm, thinking that the first one was just an accident, until the second plane hit.

Was at work. Supervisor came into room and broke the news.

i was at school at the time, my teacher got a phone call from the office, and then she started crying. we didn't know why she was crying so we asked her, and she said that two planes hit the world trade center. that was the scariest day of my life.

I was sleeping. I yelled at my brother for calling and waking me up to give me the news. I then couldn't break myself away from the tv.
