power of attorney?

parents have p.o.a. over daughters stuff. brother has temp custody of kid. he wants to just give kid to abusive father. can the mother stop that from happening? and can 2nd sister take custody from brother who doesnt want to be in charge of kid anymore? no we dont need springer just some intellegent advice please. so save any smart comments.

the mother of kid is in adjustment center for 1 year. before custody is granted to worthless father doesnt the judge have to wait for her to be able to stand up for herself in court.

Interesting...1st of all if POA is in parents name then they have supreme control and if brother has temp custody then the only way to counter this for child's sake is to show just cause if birth father is abusive..but this has to be proven and you then can ask for emergency order for custody if proven ...some States & judges ask for third party verification or even PI proof(private investigator).
Sounds like you have issues with Father of child and custodial supervision....I would seek help from Pastor or pro-bono attorney too....Good luck!!!

If the mother is in custody, the natural and legal guardian is the child's other parent. Absent a court order terminating his parental rights or removing the child from his home the father has custody. If you want to change that, either get his consent or seek an order of the court. Suggest you see an attorney.

Custody and power of attorney are separate. Custody is determined by the courts, on petition. It has nothing to do with power of attorney.

Check your local county or family courts. They will be able to provide you with the proper forms involving a petition for custody order.
