My guess? Someone has cloned your e-mail address and is using it for spamming other e-mail users.

Manny spammers use fake bounce messages to send out their SPAM in an attempt to bypass SPAM filters. It's just more junk mail; delete them and forget about them.

It's also possible that a spammer is using your e-mail as a fake "From:" address. Spoofing the "From:" address is childs play and some mail administrators don't properly configure their mail systems to prevent that type of backscatter. Again, there's not much that you can do except delete them.

It happened to my daughter recently to her AOL account. While we're questioning why it is happening, AOL closed our account. We called AOL, and found out that she got Trojan thru downloading music, and her password was stolen. The person who stole her password was sending out 700 advertising mails using her mail address. She is no longer allowed to download her favourite music thru Internet. We also upgraded our virus security system.
