Yes, Steve Irwins death was recorded but I do not think that right now the media is releasing it. Im sure in a couple weeks it will have leaked to Limewire or will be on some type of website. It's heard that in the video he's seen pulling the barb out of his heart before he dies. Should be able to see it soon enough.

it was filmed as steve irwin was filming a documentary "ocean's deadliest" at the time of the accident. the coroner has the tape.
whether or not it will be leaked to the internet, who knows, but wait a few days, maybe it will.
the family said they want the video shown. (true, google the news for this)
the documentary "ocean deadliest" has been finished today, doubt the clip will be in the movie.

Steve didn't say that if he was killed he would want everyone to see, he said if he was attacked he would want the films to keep rolling, He was reffering to crocodiles at that time though, And i doubt very much he expected to be killed in the ocean, I don't think he would want it shown because he has so much repsect for his family. His daughter Bindi is only 8, I don't believe he would want her to see something..
My last point is, that his family declined a state funeral.. preffering it to be private.. and i thnink thats what we need to repsect.. his privacy.. he is also being burried in his zoo, With claims that his family think his grave could be desecrated, if it were in a cemetry... althogh, there will be a public memorial held in australia soon, with an open inviatation to anyone.

Yes it was recorded. there should be 2 videos because there was a camreaman underwater and steve had a camrea to. But those tapes will be destroyed because the family requested it.

steve did make a comment about how he said he wished his death to be filmed and showed, and apparently it might have leaked on limewire, but i have yet to recieve the reported copy from someone who says they downloaded it
