Ok this is what you have to do. Got o Blockbuster and get school house rock. Get the one that talks about the parts of speech and watch it it helps.
Another way to remember it is
P= Preposition
A= Adjective
P= Pronoun
A= Adverb

V=Verb
I= Interjection
N=Noun
C= Conjunction

I am ashamed to say that I can write a proper sentence, but I cannot name the parts. What a dangling participle is I couldn't even begin to tell you.

No real way to remember other than maybe thinking about an example?

noun - proper subject (eg. girl, boy, cat, dog)
verb - action (eg. run, walk, jump)
adjective - description (eg. beautiful, colourful, fat, big)
adverb - tense of verb (eg. quickly, slowly, faster)
pronoun - subject but improper (eg. she, he, whom)
preposition - modifier (eg.in,to,since)

Just keep repeating the definitions until you can say them automatically.
