I'm still bewildered by the ever present hatred between the races. I'm Black/Mexican and still face racist remarks from whites. I live in a community where the whites hate the blacks and the blacks hate the whites and everybody hates the mexicans. Personally I hate all who are unproductive and worthless no matter what race they are. But if racism has to exist, why cant it be directed to the groups that actually are a threat to the US.
FYI, all drug dealers are not Black and Mexican. who do you think makes the majority of Meth. Blacks and Mexicans are not solely commiting all the crime in the US. Blacks are not the only recipients of welfare. The only people that are keeping Blacks down are ourselves. And the Reason America thinks so is mostly due to the White controlled media. Of all the Black run publications I have rarely seen White only crimes headlined. racism will never die, so lets at least put it to good use.

Racism still exists because there is a fear of Black and Brown ppl. They want to build a brick wll between the us and Mexico its not to keep the Terroist out. I recently went to Canada to visit relatives there right on the US border with no fence there? The Katrina coverage proved it also but everyone missed the ball on that one. There is a difference between Racism and prejudice. Prejudice is obvious pre judging Racism is:a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.
I'm assuming that you are the west coast or the South, I was shocked when I went to California, Arizona that there was racial tension between Blacks and Mexicans. I'm from Boston where there are Puerto Ricans and Dominicans and many of them are Brown like me not a lot of racial tension but a Class system but I'm getting off topic.
The media hardly ever portrays a Black or Brown man in a positive light never has and never will until people stop and boycott media outlets,such as local media stations CNN, Fox News, BET.
Blacks are the only ones that are keeping us down don't believe it and never have.We are just like everyone else what makes us so different that we result to self sabotage?

I've not seen too much racism toward black people, there is of coarse assholes still out there that say something. Mexican aren't hated because of their race but as a culture that promotes illegal immigration and as a culture do not respect American culture or laws.........Americans aren't flying the American flag in Mexico or trying to disrespect Mexico so don't do it here! Black people are treated equal at least where i live. Of coarse i live in a poor neighborhood so don't know how rich treat each-other

Theres racist people in every race not all white people are racist, not all blacks are racist, and not all mexicans are racist.
Its a some people in every race that are just like that.
Sry but thats how the world is u could go 2 china or any other part of the world and see that some people just hate each other.Not just Americans.
You can't change them but u can change urself.

you are what represents racism in American by saying lets direct it toward certain groups. By directing that hatred toward another group is very generalistic and ignorant. I'm latino and mixed and I get racism all the time but I ignore it. For example a girl the other day asked if I was black and I said no she got mad and said I don't like blacks. that was very stupid of her but I don't let it affect me. Why are you letting it effect you. There is only one race humanity the rest is cultural.

You are right....but I do feel I must say that racism does not only exist in America (which is where allot people think it is) but in many other countries as well, and allot definitley worse than here. Did you realize slavery is still going on in parts of Africa?

not a race but Americans. There is good & bad in all races.
