I think Chevy made the last factory built convertible Impala/Caprice in 1976 and it was quite a beautiful boat powered by either a 455 or perhaps a 350 V8.
Just for fun take a look at Ebay motors and look at Chevy convertibles for sale. The many photos of different era convertibles are cool to browse through.

NO. they turned a once beautiful two door convertible from back in the day to a 4 door family sedan. Chervolet is dead to me.
