Lack of attention to biological fathers' rights can have serious consequences, a lesson courts are handing down with more and more frequency. While the Baby Sam case filled the headlines for several years, this certainly wasn't the first case where a father's rights have landed on the front page.

This is another example of how the system sucks. Birth control is 100% on the woman/mother. ONLY the female can decide to take birthcontrol or not, take morning after pill or not, get abortion or not, put child up for adoption or not, raise the child indepently or chose to collect child support. The father has 0% say in any of these things. The only choice a man has is to get a vasectomy....that is the only way for a man to take and keep control over his birth control rights.

if he is not on the birth certificate he is not the legal guardian of the baby. However, if he is interested you are in big trouble if you try to give away the child

Yup you better make sure and be sure his name isn't on the birth certificate even though if it isn't you could be due for some headaches

a friend of mine wanted to give hers up and they had to get permission from the father and he said no and in the end, he ended up with it.
