I refuse to pass on any chain letters that use fear as a manipulative tool.

For example: "If you don't pass on this message within 5 minutes or if you delete this message something bad will happen to you within 1 week."

BALONEY!

I refuse to use those types of fear-based tactics on my friends or e-mail buddies either. It is selfish and rude, not to mention extremely gullible.

The scariest thing about chain letters is they curse or threaten people to make them comply with sending them on. They also promise things that invoke superstition. They are just a nasty waste of time.

I hate the ones that threaten your life or your luck if you don't pass them on. I also hate the simpery, help some decrepit child ones or "you've been hugged" because I already know I'm loved, and I hate feeling guilty about others. I like mostly, the funny quotes or jokes. That makes me want to pass it on.
