Don't they have as much of a right to get a good education?

If you are talking about Young People with such disabilities as High Functioning Autism -- YES, they DO go to college, and can successfully complete courses. Some developmental disabilities do NOT affect the IQ Scores -- and these students CAN excel in College -- with the help and coordinating efforts and work of the Special Needs Students Coordinators and Department at the College.

The college near me does education for everyone. All students and tutors have to sign a few bits of paper to say that they respect all others. Including people with developmental disabilities. We also have a special needs school which teaches children up to the age of 18.

they do, however the disabilities one has should be addressed in earlier stages of education. if it is something that cannot be corrected or controlled than attempting to succeed at a college level course will be extremely difficult. the success rate would be very low in matters like this. also, colleges whether they be local, community and especially the bigger colleges see no need as it is a small fraction of students who are like this AND it involves way too much time and effort on everyones part
