yes, but there is an artery that has the responsibility of bring blood back tho the heart from the legs. I believe this is called the Vena Cavae usually considered an vein.

Yes. The heart pumps blood to the lungs and it comes back to the heart. The heart pumps this oxygenated blood to all the cells in the body from arteries which become capillaries. Most of this does not come back to the heart in veins. Some does but the rest is lyphatic fluid that comes back to the heart thru the lympatic system.

No, Arteries are large, stong veins....you have ateries going into your heart and arteries going out. to be specific two going in and two going out. Teh reason you have them is because alot of blood has to flow through then and they have to handle pretty much all the blood in your body.
