Hip Hop came from the Ghetto, So why do white people believe they can realate to it?

I'm getting sick and tired of people saying I'm a racist for asking. Alot of black people feel the way I do. Some white people try to act black. You can't realate to us and what we go though.

We all have issues people cannot relate to...black, white, who cares? Do you think you have issues that are way worse than white peoples? I don't care what color, race, or creed anyone is. We are all children from God, and we all have red blood. You want to talk about racism? I don't agree with it. But think about this...blacks have a United ***** College Fund...if the whites had something like this, they would no doubt be called racist. There are all black colleges...if there was an all white college, they would be called racist. Black people can join "civil rights" groups, and it's okay. Whites, on the other hand, need only express their opposition to affirmative action to be called haters. See what i'm saying here? But to get back to your original statement, i think you do sound racist. But it's okay for blacks to be racist. But if a white person is racist, oh no no!! It's a bad deal then.

Hip hop should not be sold in low income White neighborhoods because it does not belong to them. White people do have problems like other races, but only the problems they create for themselves, like choosing to become alcoholics and fail college over one too many keg parties, or choosing to have sex with kids over the internet. I'm sure a lot of White guys in here can relate to that.

Even White girls tell me they don't understand White men and Black men are more real. Not all Blacks live in the ghetto, but even if you are a Black chick from the suburbs, you will still be treated ghetto by society because you will not have equal rights to health and happiness like your White counterparts do.

If any White guy dare writes a rap song he better not come to my area. I live in a White neighborhood and not a soul out here, even the Whites, likes White rappers. The people with money and class buy Black Hip Hop music. Only trashy low income people buy Hip Hop from White rappers. But it's all fair and even because I can't make money selling country and I have a beautiful voice for it.

Umm what is there to relate to ?? .. the lyrics are stupid "Yo yo yo my lil momma so thick" .. deep, real deep. Haha. But just b.c we're not a minority, that doesn't mean black people can't be racist against white people .. esp. in cases like this. Its music & people can like & say they relate to it if they want. That would be like a white person saying rock started in non-ghetto areas .. you can't relate to it. Thats totally unfair & people would be sooo shocked & horrified at us. Its a two-way street but b.c of slavery that happened 200 years ago black people are NEVER called out for being racist. But anyways I have friends who like hip-hop juss b.c of the beats, not the lyrics. Not me tho. Ew.

~~~I dont think its a racist question,,,,and Yes,,,alot of white people are not from the "Ghetto" but alot of white people grow up in very disfunctional upper and middle class homes,,,I dont think its "where" you come from. I thinks its all about "who" you are inside,,,due to your home life. ok... i see where your comming from, you know, but if the white person is living in the gettho, like you are, then in SOME CASES they could say they know what your going thourgh or watever but if they live in the suburbs or watever and say that. then yeah there no reason for them saying it. and dont worry i dont think your a racist. and like depending on what type of gehtto you live in ofcourse.

see, this is part of the reason why so many people hate rap. people that listen to rap believe that it's all deep and stuff and it describes their lives perfectly. and then they get all defensive when people who aren't "ghetto" listen to it too. and yes, that is really racist of you. white people can't relate to you and what you're going through? that is such bull. white people live in the ghetto too you know.

Basicly because whites are taught to hate themselves so they seek out other cultures to adopt. Most eventually figure out that they will nev er be accepted and leave it but theres always a few morons that stick with it
