Robin Williams is the most talented man of the 2. I mean Jim Carrey is great and all, it is hard to compare the 2.
Afterall, Robin has done soooo much more!

Robin Williams is a freak of nature who thinks he's funny. Jim Carey is spontaneous and hilarious.

I love them both - they seem so similar in that they are both extremely funny on and off the screen, but the differences I've noticed through the years is that Williams is very politically and socially aware of the world and does something with that, and he was professionally trained as an actor. Carrey has a God-given talent with his humor and acting ability - which many say he's not a good actor, but he wouldn't be where or who he is if he wasn't!

they are both very good, it would depend on what you are wanting them for...Robin can play both serious and funny or a cross between, Jim is just plain funny....actually sometimes he is so stupid he's funny. My final answer would be that I think Robin Williams is the better actor and would be who I would vote for that I liked best although as I said, they are both quite good.

I find both pretty irritating at times, but Robin Williams is definitely the better actor.

Jim is good in some movies, but bugs me in others. Robin Williams is a good actor, however I just can't stand him. Sorry, Robin.
