iTunes if you don't mind paying. But LimeWire - but you need to be careful. Sometimes the songs that you D/L aren't the songs that you wanted and sometimes there aren't the full thing. It depends on how specific you are on the Search Engine.

All the ones people have mentioned are OK for single songs. If you want albums, then google slsk (stands for soul seek) its very good.

download limewire.com (it's free) also download itunes (also free)
when you download something for free on limewire it will go straight to your itunes which will transfer it to your mp3 player
