It's all about how you go at it. My site is private and no one is allowed unless I agree. I like it because it allowed me to find friends I had in high school and see how they were doing.
I do notice that parents with children underage should keep a close watch on their children however. I found my little cousin on there acting like he was 19. I totally busted him for it.
Then you have people that post the nastiest pictures on there for everyone to see, but I just think that says a lot about that person and how much attention they really need. People have to remeber it is the internet therefore you can not get attached and think every person you meet is a good person.
Just be careful and if you are the immature type, you're not ready for the internet world.

Have you noticed how many tv commericals have aired in the past couple months directing you to visit myspace? Rupert Murdoch acquired myspace for over 40 million dollars, and that entitles him to use anything on the site you post in anything he likes, ie. commercials. Maybe your mom is right to freak out, she doesn't want you to turn into a narcissistic drone.

it rather is basically like actual-life... you have have been given issues no remember the place you circulate. you could declare Myspace to be a deathtrap comprehensive of previous people attempting to get some teenagers, yet that exist exterior of myspace too... people basically used myspace as some thing accountable. It takes one undesirable apple to ruin the bunch...

I think it's OK for kids that know not to put there personal business out there. And has been taught about child predictor. One of my good girlfriends daughter is on there and I couldn't even view anything about her unless I know her last name. And then a email is sent out and they have to decide. It's all about parents talking to there child and laying down the law.

myspace is fine but there are way to many kids on it. It was intended for people age 18 and older.

I'ts ok for older kids, but not for the younger ones. Pedofiles will find them too easy. I personally think everyone should have their profile set on private, so the pervs can't read your personal info, unless you want them to.
